Yay! Spring Training Time....Um...I mean Disney World! Part 1

John and I have been going to Spring Training in Florida for several years. After Sarah was born, we would spend a week at the baseball games and maybe a day at Downtown Disney. When Jacob was born, it was 4 days of baseball and a day at Disney World. Well, now it's a day or two of baseball and a week of Disney World!!

We spent the first night of our vacation at the Nickelodeon Hotel...never again!! The kid's thought it was great, but really it's geared more towards older kids.
Thankfully I didn't tell Sarah there was a chance she'd meet Dora - because since our flight was delayed we missed her :-( But she and Jacob were just as happy posing with the Dora statue.

The next day we checked out of the Nickelodeon and into the hotel we would be staying at for the week, the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Our room wouldn't be ready for awhile, so we dropped off our bags and headed to Disney World!

We rode a few rides, danced, and had lunch with Pooh and Friends.

Then back to the hotel, it was beautiful! Our balcony over looked the animals...try going back to the room during the day getting the kids to nap when there are animals outside your room!

Later that night, we went back to Disney World for the Electrical Parade! What a beautiful parade!

The next morning we were off to Disney Hollywood Studio. First off we found Daisy and Donald, while John went to try to grab fast passes for Toy Story (it was 10am and they were already distributing 6:40pm FP...no go since we had dinner with the princesses that night)

Then we found Lightning McQueen and Mater

While waiting to meet Woody, they had some really neat photo op props. Sarah of course wanted to try them all. Jacob couldn't be bothered.

Are you seeing the pattern with the character's here? Jacob would not go near any of the character's without me.

After a full day, we went back to the room to try to nap...yeah, right! Sarah was too excited! We were going to have dinner with all the princesses at the Akershus in Epcot. When it was time, Sarah put on her Snow White outfit and we headed to Epcot.

Sarah loved meeting all the princesses

Jacob LOVED meeting Jasmine!
