GIGGLES!!!

Jacob has a new obsession...it's called GIGGLES! (Also know as The Wiggles to you and me) It's the first thing he asks for when he wakes up. Well, after yelling "Mommy!" at the top of his lungs. I asked his teacher at school about this new found love. She smiled and said that they dance to their videos during music time and every time it comes on Jacob squeals like it's Christmas :-)

You see, Wiggles is a new thing in our household. We've never watched it because Sarah hated when she was his age. In fact, if it was on she would bring me the remote! But now she loves to sing and dance beside her brother. I've tried several times to catch this on video, but of course as soon as I pick up the camera they stop.

I was able to capture this on my phone, not the best quality but still cute!

Here goes the whole eating crow thing you do as a mother....I would like to apologize to Jess. I told her she was crazy when she took Joe to see The Wiggles last year. The thought of sitting through a whole show of grown up men singing and dancing made me want to gouge my eyes out. But, you guessed it...The Wiggles are coming into town August 8th and we will be there. I cannot wait to see the joy in Jacob's eyes!!!

It all started with a tutu.....

Back in January, Sarah was so proud of the outfit she chose to wear to school that day that she wanted me to take a picture of her. So, of course I took it with my phone so I could send it to her Daddy!

Little did I know that that one snapshot would turn into an everyday affair. Since then, every morning before school Sarah wants me to take their picture. Sometimes Jacob will stand by Sarah and some days he can't be bothered!
Some days I pretend to take the picture....but lately she's been asking to SEE the picture before she gets into the car. And sometimes she'll ask me to retake it.
So, here are just a few of the pictures I have taken with my phone before school the past few months.

Sarah Sayings....

Yesterday, Sarah and Jacob were playing together in their playroom. Sarah came in the kitchen to ask me a question. All of a sudden there was a HUGE clap of thunder. Sarah looked at me with huge eyes and said “What Jacob do now???” and took of running to the playroom yelling “JACOB!! What you do?????”

Fun In The Sun!!

On Sunday, we decided to take the kids to the pool at Bender's Landing Estates. The first day the kids weren't too sure of the water.

But Sarah knew exactly how to relax by the pool!

We had so much fun the day before, we decided to go back the next day!
We packed a lunch and headed out the door for more fun in the sun!

The kids LOVED the splash pad!!

I know where we will be spending our weekends this summer....
