Lake of the Ozarks - Part 4

And on the 5th day...we shopped!!!

While we were out shopping, the guys ventured out on the boat with the kids.
Once everyone was back at the house, and naps were complete, we debated on what to do next.  It was too late to go to the Waterpark, so we decided to get back on the boat and head back to Paradise.
The kids loved the "pirate"

But getting 5 kids on a pirate for a picture is almost impossible.
There was more hoop a looping and playing.
Paradise was such a wonderful family friendly restaurant.  We could have stayed there forever, unfortunately we were leaving early the next morning and needed to head back to the house.

First behind the wheel....Sarah
Then Reagan's turn
Then Jacob's turn
And, Joey got us home....

We got up early the next morning and hit the road.  After a few potty breaks, and a stop for lunch at McDonald's, we finally made it back to Ft. Worth.
We debated on dropping off the Davis family and driving straight home.  But decided to spend the night and let the kids run and play.

There were no discussions this year as to where we are heading next year....But I can't wait!

Lake of the Ozarks - Part 3

Our 4th day at the lake was Family Day!  Scott's sister, Sarah lives near the lake, so she and her husband drove up for the day.  We all headed to the State Park before it was too hot.

Sarah and Scott
The kids loved the playground.

Best Friend's Forever!!

The man behind the camera...aka our Pop-a-Razzi

Jacob wore himself out quickly

It was so hot out there!
The Three Musketeer's took a much needed snack break
Love these pictures of me and Sarah

We may have looked like this on the outside
But we were really feeling like this....
It was time to head back to the house and TRY to get the kids to take a nap, do a little "Summering", and get ready for Round 2 of the family!

Later that evening, Chrissy and Abby came for a visit. (poor Carly was too sick to come visit)

We celebrated Jacob and Carly's Birthday's

Since Carly wasn't able to be there, Sarah filled in.
Once all the fun was over it was bath time. Joe wasn't too thrilled to be in the bathtub with two giggling girls!

Our little actresses, Sarah and Reagan, put on a show of emotions while all the other kids were sleeping.

After finally getting the girls down, we enjoyed some much needed grown up time on the Wii! Thankfully, no pictures of that!!!
