Sarah turns 5

I can't believe my baby girl turned 5!
When did she go from this
 to this?

At her 5 year check up, she was 3'6.75" (55%) and 36 pounds (23%)
Sarah is strong willed, detail oriented, slightly ocd...oh and kind of bossy :-)  Her teachers tell me she is a born leader.  She knows over 40 site words that she learned at school, but can write/identify many more. She loves to color and write
I love this idea I found on Pinterest - It's a Birthday Questionnaire.  Here are Sarah's answers this year:

How old are you?  5
What makes you happy? Mommy
What is your favorite animal? Dog
What is your favorite thing to eat? Quesadilla
What is your least favorite think to eat? Lettuce
What is your favorite thing to do? Dance
What is your TV show? Angelina Ballerina
What are you really good at? Pointing my toes
What is your favorite movie? Fashion Show Barbie
What is your favorite color? Pink and Purple
What is your favorite song? Twinkle Little Star
Who is your best friend? Reagan
What do you and mom do together? Get our nails done
What do you and dad do together? Go to Home Depot
What is your favorite sport? Soccer (really, not sure she's even ever seen soccer!)
Where is your favorite place to go? The pool
What is your favorite book? Ballerina Books
What do you want to be when you grow up? A dancer

This year, Sarah wanted to have a Ballerina birthday party.  She knew what she wanted to wear, we just had to find it. After searching and searching, she was finally satisfied with this:

Kendra's Cakery made the beautiful cake and cookie favors

Sadly, I didn't get many pictures of the party, here are a few

Strawberry Picking

It seems like every year we miss strawberry season.  This year, I was determined to take the kids strawberry picking.  We woke up early on Good Friday and went to Atkinson Farms.

We had so much fun and can't wait until next season!

Disney World - Part 3

Sarah, Reagan, and Jacob waiting in the Polynesian Lobby

We packed up the car and headed over to Epcot

While everyone else was riding a boat ride, Jacob found Nemo!

And the kids were eaten by a shark!

Then we were off to find characters:
Chip n Dale

Marie
We were so excited for Jacob to see his girlfriend, Jasmine, again this year.  But upon seeing her, he said "That's not her. She looks different."
Daisy Duck
We saw a mommy duck and her babies wondering around the park.

And some neat garden sculptures

We headed back to the room to recharge and to let Sarah transform into a princess again. We went back to Epcot for dinner at the Akershus (aka - the Sneeze place)
Upon arrival Sarah met Belle
Jacob did not want to take his picture by himself with the girls, so I had to join in
Aurora
Cinderella
Snow White
Ariel
The next morning we had breakfast at Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios.  Jacob was so excited to finally have a character breakfast that didn't include princesses!
Handy Manny
Oso
Where is Jacob in all these non-princess pictures, you ask? He's sitting here watching....
Jake
Jacob really likes Jake, so I had to get in the picture
June

We found Piglet

Waited in line to meet Woody & Buzz

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!

That night, we met up with Dana and Jason. They said they wanted to spend time with the kids, but I think they just wanted to ride the kiddie rides :-)

We took one last spin on the teacups

And Jacob and John rode Buzz Lightyear.

Then it was time to say good bye to Disney World
