This was the last year we are able to go to Disney World/Spring Training without all the crazy Spring Break crowds! Makes me kind of sad. But, this year we went with the McMichael family again. Instead of flying, we rented a 15 passenger van and hit the road. Sounds crazy I know, but the drive wasn't too bad. We made it to Pensacola with not too many stops. Actually we only stopped for lunch, gas, and dinner. The kids were locked into their iPods and Kindle Fires...thank goodness for electronics!
We checked into the
Polyesian Resort, dropped off our bags, and hit the monorail over to Magic Kingdom. We walked as the parade was starting!
We rode some rides
Carpets |
Small world - or as the kids called it...the dolly ride! |
and of course, the teacups! |
The next morning we had breakfast at Ohana. This is one of my favorite meals at Disney!
Lilo! |
Pluto! |
Mickey Mouse! |
A parade! |
And Stitch! |
Jacob didn't care too much for Stitch...he hid under the table :-) |
After breakfast we headed over to Animal Kingdom. First stop - Kilimanjaro Safari!
Then a quick train ride to Rafiki's Planet
Rafiki |
Of course, we have to have a picture with the Rhino cutout - just like at the Houston Zoo |
Flick |
In Dino Land we found Pluto and Goofy
Donald Duck |
Mrs Bunny & Thumper |
We saw a parade
And before we left for the day, the kids of course wanted to take their picture on a rock?!?
That night we headed over to Magic Kingdom for a few hours
View of the fireworks from our hotel |
Of course we had to ride the teacups
And the carousel
And we couldn't leave before taking our picture with the baseball player statue in front of Casey's Corner

What a great adventure! I'm so jealous of your Disney trip. Meeting Disney Characters is one of the reason why I so love Disney. Disneyland is an incredible amusement park. The rides and decorations are all based on the wonderful Disney characters we have all grown to love. Double Stroller
